Chale Abbey Studio is situated at almost the very southern tip of the Isle of Wight. Located amongst beautiful flowing hills the setting is the perfect destination for those musicians that want to get away from the city. Although set in the rural working countryside it is still walking distance from local shops and, maybe importantly, 3 local public houses.
The studio boasts an extensive range of equipment making the studio the best equipped south of London. As well as this equipment list we also boast a large collection of Marshall acoustic and electric amps and a newly acquired Vox AC30. Additionally we have a large selection of electric and acoustic guitars including top of the range Gibsons, vintage Martins and Taylors.
The studio possesses top class cottage accommodation adjacent to the studio with extensive grounds surrounding it. On top of all of this the studio is very unique in the fact that it has a 10m-heated outdoor swimming pool. The perfect end to a summers day recording.
Isle of Wight Music will help any new and independant musicians into the recording studio. We have built a first class studio, providing the very best and most up to date analogue and digital recording facilities able to deal with the entire pre-production process. Rehersal rooms, sound booths, recording, mixing and mastering all to the very highest standards.
The studio will also be made available to established musicians wishing to 'get away from it all' on a commercial studio basis.
