THE ROAD TO CHALE ABBEY STUDIOS

IOWMUSIC has now granted planning permission for conversion of a 17th century stone barn into a state of the art residential commercial recording studio. It has been a long and difficult journey but with the support of Clutterbuck Edwards and the island planning department we got there in the end.
Our aim is to provide high quality professional recording and production facilities to musicians from all over the world in a setting that needs to be experienced to be believed and to this end we have enlisted the help of White Mark one of the countries top acoustic architects to design and project manage the studio build. We want to make the island a center for recording and production excellence as well as harness the technical and musical talent that is in abundance here on the island.
