The Denvers are another of our IOW Music artists that actually hail from the Island. Currently residing in Shanklin lead singer Danny is a very accomplished singer/songwriter. He has recorded several EPs and LPs and has gigged constantly all over the UK for the past six years. Danny has taken the brave step to make music his sole work however with the quality of his music and performance he has little to worry about.

His chilled out mellow voice is slightly reminiscent of the latest offering from Jack Johnson although his style is much more enhanced. Danny’s music almost belongs to the lesser-known underground folk from 1970. Danny has obviously spent many a night re-tuning his guitar to give him a Nick Drake/John Martyn guitar sound.

Danny’s troubadour nature is echoed in both his recordings and performance. With his lush complex guitar picking steering the songs onward the music rolls along with all the grace of The Kings of Convenience’s guitar playing mixed with the beautiful vocal harmonies of The Magic Numbers. Danny Goodburn is the guy at the party sat in the corner gently plucking away. A true asset to the Isle Of Wight Music family.
